We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company that is at the forefront of the Engineering industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems.

Responsibilities:
1.
Prepare detailed engineering plans, designs, and layouts.
2.
Oversee and manage project designs and proposals from conception through to completion.
3.
Conduct on-site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).
4.
Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
5.
Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
6.
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
7.
Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
8.
Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
9.
Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
10.
Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
11.
Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
3.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
4.
Proficient in design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
5.
Project management and supervision skills.
6.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
8.
Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
9.
Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals working on one project.
10.
Ability to analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data.
11.
Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.
12.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
13.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
