The purpose of this job is to provide broad spectrum administrative support to the Calvert County Behavioral Health Clinic's operations.
The main job duties are:
- Creates and maintains appointment schedules for the Calvert County Behavioral Health Clinic.
- Greets and directs persons seeking behavioral health services.
Responds to inquiries and takes messages.
- Reviews all documents for accuracy and completeness.
Identifies inaccurate or incomplete information and resolves discrepancies.
Enters, edits, validates, searches, retrieves, and updates client information, as required, in the electronic health record.
Reviews, verifies, and interprets information in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Assists in the preparation of daily fee deposits:
collects and posts fee payments.
- Provides Front Office coverage at other locations as directed by the Office Supervisor.
- Prepares paperwork for the collection of urinalysis specimens to include accepting payments and issuing receipts as needed.
- Attends mandatory staff training.
Participates in accreditation efforts of the agency.
- Participates in public health support roles such as flu clinics, and other disease prevention.
