- After 90 days of continuous employment, if you work 32
hours a week, you will receive a $300.00 bonus.
- After 90 days of continuous employment, if you work more than 20 hours but less than 32 hours a week, you will receive a $150.00 bonus.
Stylist Qualifications
Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/province regulations
Commitment to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
Dedication to great customer service
Commitment to follow the 5 Steps to Customer Care with every customer, every time, in every salon
Ability to cut hair for an extended period and provide quality haircuts in a fast-paced environment
Skill to listen and understand what the customer wants
Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues
Skill to use a computer to track customer information
Ability to read and speak English
Dress according to the apparel guidelines and maintain a professional appearance.
Keep stations and equipment neat and clean; make sure lobby tables, display shelves and front desk are neat and clean so the salon is neat, clean and ready to serve our guests.
Share in cleaning responsibilities and complete any duties assigned.
Embrace customer convenience by maximizing weekend schedules and other peak times. Work weekend, evening and other shifts to provide the most convenience to customers; be flexible to cover shifts as requested.
Be available to work during black-out dates.
Be ready to cut hair when the salon opens and accept customers up until salon's posted closing time.
Stay informed on products carried in the salon and on trends affecting the industry.
Ensure that State Board regulatory agency /province rules are met at all times.
Operate with a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations by maintaining an average service time of 12 to 16 minutes for haircuts.
Work efficiently to reduce non-cut times between customers.
Attend required training and workshops so you are comfortable and confident in your ability to deliver the Great Clips brand to every customer.
Attend and contribute to salon meetings so you are aware of any changes or new programs that may affect customers.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively by following salon procedures to ensure the customer's satisfaction and return to Great Clips.
