The of Southern Maryland, Inc., a leading not for profit organization in the Southern Maryland Region, is looking to hire a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, who thrives in fast paced work environment and who possesses the skills and ambition to establish a contemporary and effective facility maintenance program.

The Arc facility maintenance departments provides facility maintenance services to the 29 residential settings and 3 administrative offices in the tri-county area. This supervisory position coordinates all facility maintenance operations and provides technical and administrative support to the Property Manager. Frequent interactions with staff and residents is required to ensure the organization's standards of maintenance are met.

Who May apply:
This position is open to the general public and all Arc employees with a high school diploma or equivalent and in possession of a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of facility maintenance and supervisory experience and is knowledgeable in standard administrative software applications.
Work Schedule:
This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position's base work schedule is Monday- Friday, generally 8:
30 am -4:
30 pm. The position occasionally also requires 24/7 emergency response.
Materials Required:
The selected candidate will play a critical role in building a maintenance fleet equipped with the appropriate tools to service the facilities. In the interim, this position requires the use of personal vehicle to tow a trailer, transfer assets or transporting supplies to home/office sites as needed. Furthermore, the availability of personal tools to complete maintenance and repair orders is required until such time the fleet is operational.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
